Cat colour/marking identification riddle
My new kitty Ponyo comes from Spain and has quite an interesting combination of markings. I’d never seen orange facial stripes before, and her coat seems to be a mix of tabby and tortie markings. Is she as unusual as I think?
She was a colony cat in Spain, so nothing is known about her parents. Her tail has clearly had trauma and I assume that’s why it’s short.

Also Spook is starting to regain her voice a little. I wish she'd understand that if she stopped trying to make sound it would recovery faster, but I'll take it. It's a relief to hear her.
Day 17 with Ponyo!
I put a babygate in her doorway to let her have more contact with Spook without worry of an invasion, and that went well for a few days. Then yesterday she finally decided she was done with that, and jumped over it.
(then she panicked because there was no way back to her safe place)
She’s still a little Concerned about when Spook approaches and looks (Spook is very interested and a bit socially inept as far as body language goes, I think) so there's some 'back OFF bitch, stop LOOKING at me' hissies, but she's loose in the house during the day now and comfortable enough to zoom.
She has just discovered the cubby in the scratching tower and she looks like she might try a nap outside her own room for the first time. Until now she kept going back to her own room for that. I hope she stops going 'Yikes, human catches me in place I'm not supposed to be!' whenever I move around the house soon. I keep telling her she's invited to alll of the places.
