A friend of @thenakedvampire had a surprise litter in May. We got to take ours home the last week of July. The best part is my sister got another of the litter, a little black cat named Adrien. 

Last year our cat, Valtiel, passed from cancer. It was already a pretty hard year for us (I lost my job in May 2019) so we decided to wait a while before adopting again. I thankfully got another job in May of this year so the timing for these lil babs was perfect.

My sister’s birthday was March 30, right in the throes of quarantine. @thenakedvampire came up with the awesome idea to turn our living room into the Alamo Drafthouse. She made the menu, I made the tickets. We bought snacks my sister always gets at the theater and my mom gave us a blackout curtain to separate our living room from our kitchen. While I distracted my sister by showing her my latest Minecraft save, Vamp arranged the living room, hung up the curtain, and changed into her shirt from work to “serve” us. She used our cake pans as serving plates to mimic the Drafthouse. Hell, she even made a custom pre-show with clips based on the two movies my sister picked - Godzilla King of Monsters and The Meg.

All in all, it was an awesome night. Happy birthday, Kendall!

I spent a half hour browsing the reddit subforum for Stardew Valley and now I kind of want to make spreadsheets and lists for everything (they have some, but a majority are a bit overly complicated, I think) and maybe even work on a Stardew Valley fansite because I’ve been coding a lot lately and it would be a fun side-project. (I’ve been working on this for a while and could use a break)

But, there’s already a pretty robust SV wiki and resources on the reddit forum, so it feels redundant. But still fun. I don’t know. I easily talk myself out of things. Forums and wikis are great but I feel like a lot of niche information gets lost or isn’t all in the same place.

Just spent a week in Missouri staying in my sister’s dorm, college kids do not fuck around (◑‿◐) 

Also, for some reason in her tiny college town there’s a store that sells a massive amount of anime and video game shit and idk their business model must be amazing. The town’s population is under 20,000 but somehow these nerds had a box set of the Sailor Moon Black Moon Petit Chara that I haven’t been able to find in any of the niche shops that service the 1.5 million people in my city.

I bought it and still can’t bring myself to take the individually wrapped Black Moon villains out of their packaging.

I know a lot of people hate this chat thing, but I think it's pretty alright. I used to go on Skype every day but I lost interest in it and never had a desire to return. The only reason I logged on at all was so I could talk to friends I made here (disregarding instant anxiety every time I saw a chat response, of course) Still hope they add replies back soon though. A piss poor comment system but it was simple and easy to comment on stuff, particularly on simblr stories.
