A friend of @thenakedvampire had a surprise litter in May. We got to take ours home the last week of July. The best part is my sister got another of the litter, a little black cat named Adrien. 

Last year our cat, Valtiel, passed from cancer. It was already a pretty hard year for us (I lost my job in May 2019) so we decided to wait a while before adopting again. I thankfully got another job in May of this year so the timing for these lil babs was perfect.

My sister’s birthday was March 30, right in the throes of quarantine. @thenakedvampire came up with the awesome idea to turn our living room into the Alamo Drafthouse. She made the menu, I made the tickets. We bought snacks my sister always gets at the theater and my mom gave us a blackout curtain to separate our living room from our kitchen. While I distracted my sister by showing her my latest Minecraft save, Vamp arranged the living room, hung up the curtain, and changed into her shirt from work to “serve” us. She used our cake pans as serving plates to mimic the Drafthouse. Hell, she even made a custom pre-show with clips based on the two movies my sister picked - Godzilla King of Monsters and The Meg.

All in all, it was an awesome night. Happy birthday, Kendall!
