How do people sit still? Like, I just don’t get it! How do people. sit. still.?!

Like how do you not touch your face every five seconds, flick your arms out coz you got a random urge, switch your seating position every minute, wiggle your toes, move you hair again because you felt a single strand move, squeeze your own hand coz you felt lonely, turn your head to look behind you because who know something may have changed since the last 30 seconds you decided to spin on your chair to look around…. How do people just sit still?!??!

To my awesome lovely peeps, y'all got any ideas how to keep motivated to do something when most of the time your work a shitty ass job and babysit?

I want to be a writer. I finally decided after almost 28 years (not quite 28 yet). But my motivation is lacking, I dare say (also because of some issues I am having with depression and anxiety). I am trying to keep my groove on but I can't because my job sucks all the happiness and soul I have. I would quit but I gots them bills to pay. And when I come home I am either too exshauted or I have to babysit 2 kids ( Karter the energetic 4 year old and the new addition Donnie who is a hungry 2 month old). Plus I am trying to finish my other stories that I have posted on ao3 but sometimea things just don't come to me or I have other ideas!!!!

So if y'all could shout out some ideas, I would love to hear them!

Washing up last night. I hate washing up, for various reasons, but mostly I hate the feeling of the soapy but greasy water on my hands. So I absentmindly do it whilst listening to music and daydreaming to help me get through it.

So I grab the next piece of cutlery and take the sponge and start scrubbing it...

But I just started fucking scrubbing the other scrubber.... And it took me way too long to realise what was wrong with this situation

Send help. Or a butler/maid who can forever do my washing up for me.
