I headcannon that Doggett and Reyes are just as "I think they are... but... are they??" About MSR as we were for the first seven seasons. My ideal scene goes like this:

Doggett: "Ah, Agent Mulder! Glad to have ya back, buddy."

Mulder: "..."

Reyes: "Yeah, welcome back. Scully's over there, shes been worried sick about-"

Mulder: *walks past both of them, straight to Scully, and starts making out with her. Just like- no shame. Tongue involved.*

Doggett: ".....oh."

Reyes: "Yeah we should- we're just gonna... go...."

Reyes: *whispering to Doggett* "You owe me lunch."

Doggett getting excited because he thought Scully had come back to the office is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen

does anyone else remember that time when a guy supposedly possessed by satan or smth sicked up on doggett for like a solid 10 seconds and doggett just Stood there getting spewed on looking vaguely horrified while this guy just vomits orange goo on him and then falls to the floor and is rolling around like a weird ectoplasm fountain and doggett just looks a bit like this:

WAY TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION MULDER
