VW has long lost the status of "people's car"! We simply do NOT buy VW cars because they are way too expensive and in many cases the quality no longer matches the high price! They are doomed!!! A strike WILL NOT SAVE THEIR JOBS!!! It's a wrong tactic and strategy to save the company...!

I almost bought a VW ID.3 electric hatchback, but I was saved from a foolish act by an unexpectedly sharp price increase...and I started to ask questions...why...it is expensive, and some answers were shockingly simple...bad management, poor engineering, strategic mistakes and political corruption...!!!

The VW isn't unique...! Many legacy automakers are in a similar situation, such as Stellantis and Nissan... and there will be more...!!!

Meanwhile, Zeekr, Xpeng & Leapmotor break ALL TIME EV sales records in November, 2024...

The idiot that invented lane correction tech for cars needs to be taken out back behind the woodshed. The only thing that stupid thing does is try to keep me from merging into a different lane when I'm going 70mph on the interstate or keep me from taking exits because it reads the white lane dashes as solid. It's never once prevented me from having an accident but it's almost caused several.

And heaven fucking forbid I have to dodge road debris or a pothole. Because I'm clearly About To Die and the car must valiantly try to stop me.

Adding tech does not make things automatically better. Stop it.

The university is "building" a bike path network on campus and it's ugh so ugly and uninformed! They're using using bricks instead of just maintaining the existing asphalt or using concrete. They chose not only the most expensive option, but the worst for cyclists.
