"Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers/starts so soft and sweet, and turns them into hunters" for Evan/Jay?
:)

Evan can believe how lucky he is sometimes. Good friends, a great boyfriend, a nice place, a decent job….it almost seemed to good to be true.
Sitting on the couch at 2 in the morning watching some shitty movie with Jay slumped up against him, passed out, Evan couldn’t be happier. He had no idea what was playing on TV, not that he cared. The fact that he was supposed to go out with Jeff in the afternoon and he would be exhausted didn’t bother him. He was enjoying every second, watching Jay snore softly and shift in his sleep. He found it cute.
Evan sighs, leaning his head against the top of Jay’s. He wanted to go to bed, it was way more comfortable than the old lumpy couch but the last thing he wanted to do was wake his sleeping boyfriend. He didn’t get enough sleep as it is, Evan could stand a little longer on the couch.
He could feel his own eyelids begin to grow heavy. He yawned, curling an arm carefully around Jay’s waist, leaning against him a bit more. The movie was playing some love scene, not that Evan was really paying attention at his point. The sounds of the TV grew distant as he felt himself, a tired smile crossed over his face.
Evan couldn’t stop shaking. He was sobbing, clutching the side of the toilet seat, the taste of vomit still staining his mouth. God what did he do?
He coughed, feeling the stinging in his throat and hands, still bleeding from pounding his fists against the floor. He didn’t care how much it stung anymore. What did it really matter now?
The events just kept replaying over and over in his head, each time with new horrific memories adding to the previous ones.
He remembers Steph covered in blood, barely breathing, tears still running down her face silently.
He remembers Steph covered in blood, barely bleeding, tears still running down her face silently. He remembers Jeff begging, pleading with him to just stop hurting him, please.
He remembers Steph covered in blood, barely bleeding, tears still running down her face silently. He remembers her insides, how easily they fell from her. He remembers Jeff begging, pleading with him to just stop hurting him, please. He remembers the smell of burning flesh, the sounds of Jeff screaming.
He remembers the fear in Jay’s eyes, the look of confusion and horror at suddenly being stabbed. He remembered the taste of his flesh and blood, bits and pieces of him being torn off while he’s still alive.
Evan wretched again, unable to stop whatever’s left in his stomach from escaping. He sobbed, letting his head bang against the edge of the toilet seat, uncaring about the gash it made. It didn’t matter anymore.
What did he do?
