"Sensei, I have to tell you something. I love you," said Genos boldly, his vents however were steaming excessively and the cyborg fidgeted in his seat.

"Oh, I love you too. You're a good disciple and roommate," replied Saitama, as the truth didn't set in.

"Sensei.. what I mean is-" Genos was however quickly interrupted and didn't finish.

"Oh stop that thought! My show is finally on," Saitama blurted out quickly, the channel switched to a anime show.

I came home to this. My mom had moved Saitama and Genos.

It looks like Saitama’s punching him in the ear! Lol Talk about punishment.

Genos: *doing his bit to save the city*

Saitama: *DOOSH!!* "damnit, kid, be less reckless! I’ve told you how many times, don’t you listen?”

Second one from this prompt! This pose was a lot of fun!! Two different suggestions for who should do which pose, I really like the idea of Sai not quite knowing how to handle affection in the beginning so I went with him being the blushy one today XD

hmm, so if he started with the same amount he had in the webcomic here then that means he’s lost 10,999,901,000,000 cells so far. I guess Golden Sperm really did use 10 trillion.

there aren’t enough left for another new (good) merge, so I guess GS will absorb a bunch? that’s still a whoooole lot that need to die

unless the numbers have just been nerfed and he didn’t start with as many & doesn’t need trillions, just billions. who knows!

Inktober 24/31 prompt "dozen"

“It was a bit much to blow up the whole street, don’t you think?”

“Sensei, it was threat level Demon. It was essential that the enemy was dealt with swiftly and without hesitation.”

“Yeah but… It was just a tiny lizard, man. At least we’re getting a meal out of it, I guess. You brought it with you, right?”

“…Yes.”

As stoic as the cyborg could often appear, the pained expression on his face as he carried the tiny scorched reptile body - holding it by the long, stiff tail between his thumb and index finger - suggested that he was far less delighted with the offer of this particular free meal than his teacher was.

As if the free (if questionable) meat hadn’t been enough, things took a turn for the even better when they stumbled upon no less than a dozen eggs not long thereafter as they were walking back towards the apartment. The eggs had probably been hidden more carefully before the ruckus of the fight left them spread out across the ground. They looked pretty much like regular eggs, if smaller and with dark spots on them. Probably soot from Genos’ attacks or something, right? Saitama collected them all carefully, using his cape as a makeshift basket, successfully tuning out Genos’ concerns for their origin until he was done and they continued on their way again. This was turning out to being a pretty great day after all.

“Sensei!”

The call was truthfully pretty loud already, but Saitama was not known for his immaculate focus. It wasn’t until the third shout - each one getting progressively both louder and shriller - that he lifted his head to look towards the kitchenette to regard the cyborg staring at him through the tiny window. He looked decidedly upset. Not a good sign.

“What?”

“Sensei!” Genos insisted loudly, sounding near his mental limit.

“Oh, alright” Saitama sighed, turning down the volume of the TV as he got up to step into the kitchen in order to inspect what the problem was. Hopefully his disciple hadn’t somehow managed to melt the frying pan again or…

He stopped mid-step as he entered the small room. What.

He stared at Genos, who in return looked more lost than Caped Baldy had seen him in a long time (at least a week or so). Around him were the dozen eggs, more than half of them cracked. Not from the cyborg’s cooking, though. No, they were… hatching. Several tiny, tiny lizards were already carefully crawling around the small workspace covered in tiny bits of egg shell, large eyes blinking at the bright lamp overhead.

For once, the young blond seemed at a loss for words. He pointed accusingly at one of the tiny reptiles before turning a desperate glance towards the older man,  requesting guidance.

The small creature opened its mouth, revealing rows of impossibly tiny but sharp-looking teeth. It squeaked out a low noise that sounded suspiciously like “ma-ma”, its eyes squarely on Genos.

“Oh” Saitama offered, feeling a faint grin coming on. “Well, I guess you’re their mommy now. You know, after making them orphans and all.”

Genos’ mouth opened and closed a couple of times, no sound coming out. He visibly flinched and turned his head at the low crack of another egg suddenly cracking open, giving Saitama the opportunity to slink back into the living room while the cyborg’s focus was elsewhere.

“Let me know when dinner is ready so I can set the table, all right?” he said calmly as he slunk back down on the floor, grabbing the remote to turn up the volume of the TV again.

His only response was a frantic mutter from the kitchen and what sounded like upset cursing as yet another lizard emerged from its shell.
