The fact that so much of Dr. Stone emphasizes the concept of a father setting up the world to help and make things easier for his son who he loves and wants to help as a way to mirror how much of human innovation ultimately happens because people want to make the world better for later generations,
while having said father and son relationship very explicitly be between an adopted son and his father who dont give a shit about that and blood and love one another regardless of that.
