Thinking about how Adam deserved so much better, he was poor as fuck literally just trying to pay rent and eat and he was chosen bc he was doing the only thing he knew how to do to stay alive. Adam survived, he made it until 6 but he was left there to rot bc his trap wasn’t set up properly. He was depressed and viewed his life as having little to no value and when he finally realizes he doesn’t wanna fucking die and BEGS to live, he doesn’t get to, even after doing everything he possibly could to survive.

He’s also autistic + has a personality disorder but that’s a ramble for another day

I’m a born introvert so I’m in the weirdly privileged position of not being too heavily affected by this social distancing thing in terms of mental health

but my husband, who is an extrovert and a teacher of teenagers, a man accustomed to talking to people for 40 hours a week, has been on mandatory work-from-home for two days and is already wearing a nervous hole in the floor
