“🕯️: a ghastly creature, an abomination far too grotesque for the human mind to handle. it begins to hiss with demonic intent as soon eye contact is established.”

My Muse is in the Darkness. A lone candle is all they have to light their way. Send “🕯️:____” along with something They’d encounter in the Dark for their reaction.
Endless darkness fill every room of the house, engulfing every piece of furniture and every inch of the floor. The dark is so dense, Harmony feels she can almost drown in it. All the more reason to keep the candle close. As much as Harmony dislikes fire, she has little options in having light in this house. The flame's warm glow offers the only solace in this dreadful situation. This abandoned house is the closest place Harmony could find to get away from the brutal storm that rages outside. Staying in her car that broke down on the side of the road was not an option tonight. It would be too dangerous.
But her hopes in this place having electricity or a signal to call for help dash away like the harsh winds howling outside.
I don't like this. Not one bit! I don’t see a fusebox anywhere! I can’t call one of the house’s phones or anything without power.
This place is so large and decrepit. It looks like not one soul has lived here in so long.
It looks a lot like a place he visits to look for ghosts in his livestreams. She wonders while taking glances of the aged paintings and cobwebs embracing corners. She grimaces at the sight of the dusty furniture. Looks like sitting down is out of the question.
“Oh, right! Takumi has a new livestream tonight! Shame I won’t get to see it...I don’t remember him saying where he was going though.” There would be no way to do that when there’s no electricity or even a signal for her phone. Her plans of watching one of his paranormal investigations in the safety of her home is out of the question. Harmony looks at her phone and sorrow fills her gaze to see that it’s time for his stream to start and there’s still no signal. A tired sigh follows the phone slipping back into her damp jacket’s pocket. Perhaps she can watch a playback later. Right now, her priority is getting home.
One hand clutches the front of her jacket, pulling it closer together as her body shivers from the chilling rain while the other hand holds the candle's copper chamberstick. Slow, cautious steps barely make a sound in the old house. Tired eyes search her surroundings with only the candlelight being her lone savior from being swallowed up by the dark. But she quickly learns that she isn't alone.
Dark browns rise as her eyes widen at the sight of a grim entity. It stands at the end of the corridor. The appearance alone made her stomach twist and turn. Her shaking hand tightens its grip on the chamberstick for the sweat on her palm threatened to drop the candle. Harmony's lips twist to a wide and uneasy smile and her free hand raises up to give a tiny wave.
"Hi!" Her greeting is soft but strained as though fighting to hold back her cries. "D-don't mind me! S-sorry! Sorry for intruding and everything." She takes one step back, then another and another to gain distance from the demon.
"Listen! I mean no disrespect! I w-won't bother you! I-I'll leave when the storm passes, I promise! You won't see me again!" Her attempts to reason with the hissing demon may be futile, but it's either that or run and find a place to hide. Right now, she is just going to step back, give the entity space, and hope that it will stay put and not lash out. "I-I will respect your space if..i-if you respect mine"
