This one panel is so interesting to me because of the way the turtles and splinter react to Karai's declaration of war. Mikey and Donnie are both looking towards the threats they may have to face in future, Donnie probably not prepared to be manhandled by more monsters that are 3 times his size again and Mikey is just so done with fighting that you can see the fear and frustration in his face. Splinter looks to the side and slightly down, not ashamed of what has happened, but moreso upset that things didn't go as swimmingly as it could've and Leo probably feeling the exact same way, disappointed in Karai like most Leos are (they all want to redeem Karai so bad lmao). And last but not least, the most interesting reaction belonging to one of the most complicated and interesting characters in the series, Raph's. His eyes are wide and dotted like Mikey and Donnie's, but instead of showing his fear of what's to come right in front of him, HE LOOKS OVER TO HIS OLDER BROTHER LEO. HE LOOKS AND SEE LEO'S CALMED EXPRESSION (even though Leo's probably as panicked as everyone else) AND HE REMAINS CALM AS WELL. WHY IS RAPH SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER
