-Look for food banks in your area, churches and 99cent stores. Contact every church nearby regardless of faith and ask if they do free grocery days or have a food bank of their own. -There are survey sites that give you money for completing surveys. I don't like pitching them because it makes me feel skeevy, but a safe one that I've used is ispos isay. Unfortunately it takes a while to find a survey that accepts you but it's something.-Ask for money online for help paying bills.-Potatoes. And Chorizo. Chorizo stretches for days and potatoes have always had the backs of poor people. Sure you're gonna hate chorizo potatoes when you're back on your feet but they'll take care of you.-When I or my family has trouble paying the electricity we go to this place downtown which I believe is called EOC, and they help us pay our electrical bill. I would suggest looking for something similar in your area.-Look for any programs that'll help take care of utilities. It might take some digging to find them but it might be worth it.-Keep an eye out for free food posts. Make a post asking for food. Make an amazon wishlist of food items and post it, and ask people to send you food. Do the same for toilet paper, shampoo, soap, daily needs. People seem to like having the option to donate money or products, and it should help.
