I drew your lovely sphinx lady and then uh starting making silly sphinx pictures so I am posting it for your amusement. I LOVE HOW SWOOPY AND SNAKE-Y THE SPHINXES/SPHINGES/SPHINXI ARE.

lol I meant to reply to that earlier post with a suggestion for green, and now that it IS green, I'm feeling very pleased even though I had nothing to do with it. Anyway, thanks for your commitment to monthly colors, I look forward to the rest of Green April 2018. :)

6. What are they like in motion–in different environments, and in different activities? What causes the differences between these?

when he’s around his troops, marcus is the consummate officer: straight-backed, stern, but also like a kind uncle. he feels it’s important that he not only be a good role model, but someone a young soldier could trust to have their safety at heart. when he’s hanging out with livia, he shares her dry humor. when he’s at court, he’s self-deprecating and awkward. he’s not good at “the grand game,” as they call it in dragon age.

23. How do they respond to difficult social moments? What makes them consider a social situation difficult?

this one goes off #6 - marcus is really earnest, and not good at that delicate, manipulative political play. if he’s alone, he finds a way to gently excuse himself. if he’s with livia, he lets her do the talking. a man’s gotta know his limitations

38. Is there anything they wish they could change about their worldview or thought processes? What, and why?

i think marcus probably wishes, against his moral code, that he could learn to accept the war he’s been put in charge of. for eight years, he’s been sending his troops off to die in a conflict he feels is unethical. if he could just be okay with it, maybe it wouldn’t be so hard.
