So I was just on facetime with my friend and she jokingly made fun of me and I pretended to be offended and demanded an apology. But when she said "I'm sorry" my immediate response was to say "you're welcome".

1: Any fandom you’re sometimes embarrassed of?

Most of them? Idk I usually get embarrassed to reblog SPG stuff because I rarely see it on my dash. But I love all the art and how it's basically about art, but then I see a lot of hate in the fandom AND I JUST WANT TO APPRECIATE ART AND ROBOTS AND UNIQUE CHARACTERS AND WORLD BUILIDNG, OKAY?!?

2. First band you ever saw in concert? (If you’ve never been to a concert, first movie you can remember seeing in theaters?)

Hm... Well, if it's the first band I went to a concert to specifically see, then it's Green Day. If just in general, I have no idea because my first 2-3 were radio station music festivals and I don't count those.

3. Favorite book and why.

That's like making me choose between favourite places to breathe air (White Mountains in the morning, btw). Hm... For overall characters, world building, and driving me mad between parts of the series, probably a toss up between Goliath by Scott Westerfeld and Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.

But Goliath wins because the Leviathan series has beautiful illustrations I want to get prints of.

The Leviathan series is a brilliantly worked steampunk/biopunk masterpiece and it's like literary fruit gushers (which we all know is people catnip). I just wanted to roll around in the book and shout "YES!" to everything. Also, my otp is so beautifully canon it hurts.

4. What do you do to calm yourself down when you’re anxious or stressed?

 When ignoring it fails spectacularly I get a haircut and wash so they can massage my scalp because that is one of my favourite things in the world. I just like it when people play with my hair/scalp.

Shopping or relaxing in hot/warm water helps too.

5: Any favorite show that was over before you were born?

The Twilight Zone

6: Any fandom you wanna join but are kinda being lazy about actually doing so? 

Most of them. Probably the ones for youtubers.

7: Ever do anything that wasn’t actually bad but you felt terrible for anyway?

Most of the stuff I do. Making bad jokes. Missing opportunities. Stuff like that.

8:  Do you prefer pictures or words when it comes to telling a story? 

Both.

That's what I love about Leviathan, Behemoth, and Goliath. The chapters come with some of the most incredible illustrations ever! Like omg Keith Thompson is so fab it can't be fair!

9: Favorite treat?

10:  Is there anything that’s considered really popular but you’re not too fond of?

So. Many. Things.

Most music, for instance. Like I honestly don't like Gangnam Style or Thrift Shop. Those songs honestly piss me off, actually. Um, Reality TV. Coffee. Facebook. Ghost hunting shows. Horror movies. Sweat pants. Mpreg. Stony.

College Update

So, one of the big reasons is because Bay Path is expensive and I haven't been able to get a loan yet and if I can't get a loan by sunday, well, I won't be moving in.

But hey! That's not a bad thing. Honestly, the next semester will be miserable for me if I can get a loan as I will be getting hand surgery on my dominant and will be out of commission for a at least a month. So, basically that semester would have just been a waste of time and money for me anyways. And will be insanely stressful.

I was considering transferring anyways, so no biggie. Because tuition is high as balls and honestly I don't feel like it's the permanent place for me. So, I'm probably going to go to BHCC or Harvard Extension in the fall and I'll be applying for the University of Utah once I get my GPA up a bit more.

"Dude, why Utah?"

Well, actually I've always kind of wanted to go to the U. I have family in Utah and if I stay home I'll be able to go with my mom out there in October to visit schools and Natural History museum (you guys remember how much I love those, right?). But if I move out there I could attend the school (which has incredible biotech and paleontology departments. I'm drooling, guys, just thinking about what an incredible opportunity that would be for me.) and I'd move in with my Grandpa and be back home for the summer.

I think the change of pace will be good for me, y'know? And if not, well, I've got you guys.

So if you don't see me at school, well, I'm just chilling in Boston while trying to find my way in the world I'm in a better place now.
