Now Jack wasn't really believed by a lot of people. He spent most of his college days trying to figure out whether ghosts were real or not. But his obsession kind of went sideways as he started focusing a lot more on that than the people around him.

He kind of lost both of his best friends in the process but it's okay they'll come back eventually.

Maybe it's a genetic problem and the reason he's so into the occult is because they used to be exorcists. Maybe he could have blamed his parents but it really wasn't his fault. If nobody wants to stick around it's okay he'll just have to find somebody who does want to listen.

So after getting his degree in bioengineering he ended up falling down this rabbit hole. Fascinating stuff he accidentally made an invention as his final school project and despite them telling him he can't take it with him he did it anyway. It was a tracker of some kind and he could have sworn it tracks ghosts.

It doesn't.

He ended up in the sewers of this really creepy ass city. Yeah he could have never expected that but he did find something more interesting than a ghost for once. A man that looks like an alligator and that guy was really aggressive. So Jack does what a normal person would do, did you don't flip the alligator guy so he doesn't growl at you because why would he do that that's rude.

At least now he can say that his machine does point towards something maybe next time it shouldn't point at living people. All he needs is one ghost and he's out of there. Oh and the alligator became His companion so he guess that's a win.

Now killer croc was very confused because not only did a random guy just show up in his lair. That random guy flipped him and had the ability to do so. He wasn't even bothered by like all the stuff that was in there, like the obvious skeletons and the smell of rotten flesh. Also he knew that he was human okay he's now very curious.

Can you blame him?
