LOL first the little box on the followers page and now the instant messaging icon/function (??). Tumblr is once again trying to self-destruct.

That little box is back. No idea why they took it out in the first place but this is Tumblr that we’re talking about. I just hope they’ll come back, though I know they’re still on IM so maybe they’re making a mobile only feature? God, I hope not...

i thought it was a glitch too, and i hope it is, because i really don’t see a reason to remove it. but yes, like you said- staff are notorious for removing useful features and replacing them with shit we literally don’t need, and it wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case this time.
