hi! i’m +isa, she/her, and i’ve been around writeblr for a while :) i wanted to make a new intro (even tho i made one recently when i moved blogs) because its 2020 and i’m planning on working on some new wips! you may hear a little bit about my older wips, but they really need reworking, so i’m mostly going to focus on these new ones while i try and redevelop those! 

andromeda lux → andromeda is the last heir of her coven, and considered to be rather mediocre for such a station. when she comes into her true abilities after the death of her girlfriend, she realizes that she has everything, and nothing, all at once. when she and her girlfriend’s ghost find out that st. edmund’s university may have information on necromancy to restore alicia to life, the two meet a group of students who may be able to help.

empire of souls → the gods are dying. there is not enough magic left in the land after the colonial empire’s invasion to sustain them. arwen is the last champion alive, the only person left with enough innate magic to communicate with the gods. when she finds a dragon egg in the rubble of a monastery, the gods realize that this is their last, and only, chance to restore magic and save their land. together with the rightful princess and the colonial empire’s only prince, the three will have to do whatever it takes to save their magic, their gods, and their land, before it’s too late.

burn the world → eva and maggie chase are alone. the usa is a shadow of what it once was before the Destruction. now, as children and adults begin developing strange superpowers in the Aftermath, the government has a vested interest in taking them as living weapons. after eva gets taken away, maggie has to confront the gift she’s been hiding from her sister and from the world. together with others who have evaded the government’s eyes, maggie will have to launch the most dangerous rescue mission ever. if she succeeds, she, her sister, and their newfound friends still have to cross the border into canada, where they’ll be safe. if she fails, she forfeits her freedom. if she’s lucky, her life.

dial a for apocalypse → the eternal civil war of the gods has ended. evil has prevailed, and the world is falling into destruction. one goddess manages to escape the imprisonment of the losing side, landing on earth and hiding in the body of a human girl. with the help of her host and the host’s boyfriend, she’ll have to navigate teen life and the beginnings of the apocalypse, all the while formulating a plan to save her siblings and restore balance.

To be honest, I was so surprised as I fell in love with your blog. The theme and colours were so pleasing and calming and as I read through your original work and your writing... I was so stunned by the wonderful, stunning worsening that I couldn’t believe that these aren’t actual lines from your stories! Gosh, I really don’t know how to continue because it’s stunning and took my breath away! My love for your work and blog are beyond words, I can say that for sure.

Politely they gave you a nod while you passed the street. It’s a funny thing actually, you two have never really talked to each other, you don’t even know their name although many of your friends know them. You two greet each other anyway as you see the other go by. ‘I think they might be the classiest person in a radius of twenty kilometres’, one of your friends whispered into your ear as you smiled at them while they were passing the street, you two always pass together. ‘Of course’, you answered simply and gazed at them. They were wearing a long trench coat with a turtleneck sweater underneath. A pair of straight trousers and black shoes accomplished the outfit. Everything was kept in browns, beiges and blacks, all fitting to their warm-brown hair and eyes. Yes, of course they were classy, polite and kind. They were the person who always visited the university library, read old poems and talked in a beautiful, elegant way with everyone who was there to listen. It was the reason everyone knew them — you only had to say ‘the one, talking like poet’ and you recognised the young stranger you shared a wink with when you passed the street together.

Immortality and aging is a major theme in One Siren’s Soul! One of the main characters is basically immortal, and sirens age much more slowly than humans, so there’s a lot of characters trying to mess with the passage of time to fit their personal desires (often met with unintended, negative consequences).

while im stuck staying awake i'm thinking about how bad the popovses relationship gets sometimes. its honestly. really sad to me because nikolai isn't trying to be mean (surprisingly), but xyr influences in the world were very....... Bad?

like nikolai has, for around a decade at the point of ENF been living in the real world. xe's forced ximself to assimilate and "normalize" the best that xe could (which: obviously nikolai is still very very strange, i feel like even at current day xe's extreeeemely clinical when talking to anyone.)

just rambling now but just so we're all aware: nikolai's whole purpose is figuring out "how to be human" but xe feels like xe'll never get a fraction of the humanity that juliya has found but juliya thinks the fact that nikolai gets so mad at him & their situation makes xim very human :( juliya has what nikolai wants but xe's so. incredibly mad that juliya was able to find it acting the way that he does
