To those, who just came by and decided to stay for a while:

Hello, welcome to amongwriters, a place to feel like home, my name is lizzy.

Amongwriters has been around for nearly 1.5 years but I’ve been away for the longest time. I want to apologize for that but I’m afraid to say that I’m still not back and probably will never be. 

Don’t get me wrong - I’m not leaving! I’m not going to leave my beloved amongwriters behind! I’m just saying that I won’t post as much as i used to back then. No matter how many schedules I’m designing, none of them ends up fitting. 

It’s not like I don’t want to... It’s rather like I don’t have th motivation, the ideas. Next to that I’m going to go to highschool within a few months - meaning there’s even less time. 

I’m still going to post, don’t worry, but maybe once or twice a month. I hope that this content is going to entertain you, even though it’s not much.  Although I keep on saying that I’m not leaving, this kind of sounds like a goodbye, a farewell. It’s not. It’s rather a ‘see you later’ or ‘until next time’. I’m going to call it ‘let’s whisper at midnight’. 

So, thank you, angels. We’re going to see each other and until then, let’s whisper at midnight.

RED // ‘black mirror’ excerpt

"Why do you keep staring at me?" She asked inquisitively. "Have I smudged my lipstick?"

"No, you haven't."

"Are you sure I don't look like a clown?"

I couldn't help but laugh. "Quite sure."

"Then what is it?" She persisted. "Come on. You can tell me. I sure as hell tell you all the Whitemarsh secrets; now it's your turn to tell me yours."

I had Liesel to myself now. This was what I'd been wanting all night and I finally had it- the opportunity to be incredibly selfish. So I had no choice but to be honest.

"You just look..." I began softly, trailing off, fleetingly hypnotised by the curious sparkle in her warm chocolate-brown eyes.

"Just look what?" She prompted impatiently. “Come on, Doctor. Spit it out.”

"Just so beautiful. So wondrously... beautiful."

She stared at me in a way that I could only describe as a mixture between confusion and disbelief. Perhaps she thought she was dreaming. I definitely felt like I was.

"You really think so?" She asked quietly.

I nodded. "Ever since I met you. Well, maybe not exactly."

She laughed, no doubt recollecting our first uncomfortable and awkward encounter.

"But things have changed since then, yes?" I continued, to which she nodded. "Things have happened tonight and I've met people that have got me thinking more and more. Thinking about us... and I've been wondering if there is definitely an us... I don't know, truthfully, but I would like that. I'd like there to be an us, Liesel."

Her eyes never left mine as I spoke, glittering with hope and curiosity.

"Really?" She whispered. "You mean it?"

"Every word."

Planting her hands firmly on my shoulders and standing on her tiptoes, she pressed her lips to mine, kissing me with the faint, lingering taste of brandy. It took me by surprise and I froze momentarily, but soon became of ease and held her by the waist before kissing her back.

All other thoughts escaped my mind. All I could think about was Liesel. About her lovely smile, her gorgeous hair, her flattering dress, her gentle touch, and the warmth of her lips. Infatuated didn’t even come close. She had bewitched me and I was utterly spellbound.

After what only felt like a split second and to my disappointment, she pulled away. Now Liesel’s lipstick was smudged. It had faded, now more of a dark pink, matching the colour that had risen in her cheeks.

But she didn't seem to mind. Instead, she giggled.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Red suits you, you know," she answered cryptically, still grinning.

For a long moment, I pondered, unable to think of what she meant. I wasn't wearing red, so why say that?

But then I knew. She had kissed me with lipstick still fresh on her lips and now, it seemed, I was wearing it, too.

"Oh, goodness!" I exclaimed, fishing for the handkerchief in my pocket. I pulled it out and wiped my lips, a faint streak of scarlet staining the white fabric. "How embarrassing..."

"Who else is there to see?" Liesel said, taking the handkerchief from my hand. She pressed her mouth against the clean side of it, a perfect red lip print appearing, before tucking it back into the breast pocket of my jacket.

"A souvenir," she added with a mischievous wink...

I was already excited about ‘In the End’ celebrating its 2 year anniversary at the end of this month but it’s only the first day of April and I’ve just seen that’s it has reached 5k reads!!! I’m absolutely over the moon and want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me and reblogged the content I’ve posted over the last year. Like wow! I mean, you all know by now m how much ‘In the End’ means to me so you can imagine I’m very emotional at this point!
