Bagel’s birthday is soon, later this month. He’s turning 11!

Bagel is one of the best dogs EVER! He had surgery a few months ago to remove a (non cancerous) lump growing by his peeing area. It was so scary for me but he made it through just fine and handled things very well! He’s always such a happy dog, seeing him so tired and quiet for a few days was very scary to me since he wasn’t his normal playful self. But he’s all better now and he’s even more happy and playful now that that lump is off of his body! (It was 2 pounds!)

He’s a very good boy and I know he’ll have a great 11th birthday. And I’m sure it’d be the best birthday present ever if his sister Poppy won the Poppy bracket! (They’re NOT biologically related, but we do call them siblings. They may be related somewhere down the line as they are both beagles, but they’re not from the same litter)

first pic could work for Poppy since she’s sitting on a throne of blankets, which she’ll sit on if she wins and the second is a photo of her “splooting”, she lays down like this all the time and it’s so cute and iconic

congrats Toph for winning! Even though Poppy lost, I’m sure she’d be glad to know that a favorite character of mine won :)

Funny thing is my other dog Bagel has an arrow on his forehead like Aang! It’s faded with age, but he’s still our dogatar (dog avatar)

Poppy also has a spot on her forehead that reminds me of the episode where Sokka kept hitting his forehead, and by the end of the episode he had a spot on his forehead from when he kept hitting it

(This is an older picture so Poppy looks much thinner here, she was VERY underweight when we first got her. She’s at a healthy weight now, don’t worry about her!)

it makes me so happy how much people are loving Poppy! Almost everyone who has met Poppy really likes her, she just loves making new friends and is so excited whenever she sees another dog or a kid, if she sees a dog while in a walk she really wants to say hi and gets so sad when she can’t say hi!

kids just love her, there’s lots of kids in my neighborhood and they all love Poppy. Whenever they see Poppy they get so excited and want to play with her and pet her, and Poppy get so happy too! She loves the attention and loves to give attention too! I’m sure she’d get along with everyone she’s competed against in this poll!

Poppy's developing her own fanbase here and even people voting for her adversary remark on how cute she looks.

Personally, I also love knowing more about her !
