There is a fic I've been trying to find where nat, Wanda, pepper and the other girls all dance and Bucky makes a bet with nat that he has to dance to prove that dancing is a sport. As he dances he grows to love it and he remembers that he used to love wearing women's clothes back then and in the end they all dance to Show Me How You Burlesque at an event.

I absolutely love this fic and haven’t seen it recommended before and that is a crime. This is a kid fic and a Captain America Steve/Modern Bucky fic. Bucky has a 16 month old baby and lives in a lighthouse. Steve washes up on his beach with amnesia. S.H.I.E.L.D. never found the plane so he’s fresh out of the ice as well.

Steve is unpredictable in some ways, but his dependability is always stable. And when Bucky pulls the whistling kettle off the fire, he knows exactly what he’ll see when he turns around.

The warmth of the mug between Bucky’s hands is nothing compared to what the image of Steve lit only by the flickering hues from the television spreads through him. He doesn’t smile, not yet, but past experience tells him that he will soon. He might even tug at Steve’s golden-halo hair to get him smiling if he wants to put himself fast at ease because that giggly, snorty sound tearing its way through Steve’s throat always does the trick.
