Day #20, Popularity Papers by Amy Ignatow. Really goofy story about two best friends documenting what they find to be cool and their adventures together. This series I find to be in the same genre as Wimpy Kid, it has the cross between graphic novel, and novel. One of the main characters has two dads. Although I love main character that are LGBT+ I enjoyed the fact it helped to normalize same-sex parenting. It wasn’t a huge deal for most of the series and I love how one dad is just the BIGGEST nerd. It would be a fun, soft read to give to someone like Alice one day. She could read a book where someone people like her two aunties together, just trying their best to keep their little niece out of too much trouble.
