Last night was perfect. It was a cool and crispy night...a joyous break from the oppressive heat of the last few weeks. We sat out on my sisters porch and enjoyed a wonderful dinner by music, candle and firefly light... we supped on corn pudding, kale salad , sausages and caprese...drank a wonderful hard cider from New England and for dessert, she made me a birthday pavlova. Just me, Jim, my kids and my sister, brother in law and nephew. It was a quiet, perfect way to start the weekend.
