How I applied the Liveness debate through the technology:

The resoning behind having the camera set up in the space was to give the illusion that the feed was live, addressing that with new advancements in technology, including the introduction of live feed that it has been incorporated into modern life culture. ‘Live performance now often incorporates mediatisation to the degree that the live event itself is a product of media technologies… In the theatre, as at the stadium you are often watching television even when attending the live event, and audiences now expect live performances to resemble mediatized ones.’  (Auslander, 2008:25&26) Upon reflection the set up of the performance resembled that of a miniature concert, with the projector and two smaller screens, not too dissimilar to the popular set up used at music and comedy festivals.

The book is divided in four parts: Element of projection, Skill building to achieve OOBE, astral projection techniques and a last part with a description of the astral world based on Robert Bruce experience.

In the part Element of Projection, Robert Bruce the author start by a discussion about the etheric body then he goes further by describing the different types of perception possible under the condition of an out of body experience. He introduces the concept of mind split effect, the awareness of being in a physical body and in an etheric body in same time but in different space.

There is a short chapter about remote viewing but Robert Bruce call the phenomenon remote-eye projection. He gave explanation about achieving a remote viewing session but as long as remote viewing is concerned a proper course about it will do the best than Bruce explanations.

There is a long detailed part about raising your energy level according to Robert Bruce , astral projection is a demanding energetic procedure and the more you will have energy the easier it will be for you to achieve successful projection under your control. The technique to raise energy is a form of taichi that he calls NEW (New Energy Way), this technique will help to raise your energy level and even benefit your health.

The book follows with a long part on mind control, this is the traditional training for most people involved in ESP development. You will have exercises about sensory development, visualisation, deep relaxation. The next part is the real meat with plenty of detailed projection methods. The last part is a fascinating account of Robert Bruce experiences in various astral kingdoms in fact reading this will certainly motivate you to learn and master this skill.
