These Bacon-Wrapped Pork Chops are a savory delight. The bacon adds a crispy and smoky layer to the juicy pork, while the sweet and tangy sauce complements the flavors perfectly.
Ingredients: 4 boneless pork chops. 8 strips of bacon. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup chicken broth.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 375F 190C. Season the pork chops on both sides with dried thyme, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Use toothpicks to secure the two bacon strips around each pork chop. Heat the olive oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. When the bacon is crispy and the pork is browned, add the bacon-wrapped pork chops and sear them for two to three minutes on each side. Combine apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Cover the pork chops in the skillet with this mixture. Pour in the chicken broth and slide the skillet into the oven that has been preheated. Bake the pork chops for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C. Use the sauce from the skillet to bast the pork chops every now and then while they bake. When finished, take the skillet out of the oven and give the pork chops a few minutes to rest before serving. Drizzle the pan sauce over the hot pork chops wrapped in bacon before serving. Have fun!
