With a sensuous smile
like that
you cannot
by any means
hope to gracefully rule
my world
But you can indeed
manage to deliver it
on the verge of
A pounding
palpable
and anarchic furore

A pounding

wind kissed my skin as I stepped out into the world
lifted me above life
carried me carelessly through the day
reminding me with rosy cheeks
that I was indeed alive
With a smile like that, you could rule the world... pink diamond lips parted just right and Cheshire teeth sensually grinding.
Even with my distance covered, the tiger has finally caught up with me. Even in my obscurity, I am no longer safe - no longer free. Even under the hands of care I've been on the run since my mind could think. Even in peace and proseprity, the scales of life flood to one side in a blink. Numbing and forgetting, do I continue on with my flight? Or in opposition, do I finally stand my ground at last to fight?

Poetry portal challenge (again 😅)
Whistling wind kissed my skin, beach blissed
Peaceful planning, boat trips and raincoats
Not nearly a nickel, got us in a pickle
Never needed more, walking along the shore
Immersively impeccable fashion, topped with my passion
Tamed, touching your heart with hands never apart
Clumsily cobbled poetry, written under palm tree
Sandy shores, distant echoes, kissing insistant
Trickling time... Nonexistent. Over? In an instant.
Trying out the challenge from PoetryPortal!
I had to use the prompt 'With a Smile Like That, You Could Rule the World' as well as 'Bitcoin'
With this picture that I had seen before in mind, the prompt and a song stuck in mind, I wrote this random piece.
Break-up Advice
We wonder sometimes why were victims of love crimes. Caught carelessly right in the middle of a pickle. Burned by some guy who'd sworn never to say bye. I asked her how she could still be. She seemed free. Even when we saw nothing to believe in. She told me, "be bold. This is one moment and you've got a lifetime left to be broken. I imagine my passion touching your heart before you fall apart; otherwise our conversations are no more than fake affirmations." Suddenly something so big shrunk down to a twig. My mind now light, I stepped outside, the wind kissed my skin giving me a pleasing fright, I suppose she was right.

i- internal rhymes
b- alliterations
My flaming ferocious passion always turns ashen
Whenever the soft wind of your softly smiling skin
Drifts lightly past the ancient acres of love within me
And fully forces me to confirm my flickering belief
In the futility of feigning an ardent affectionate relief
As I'm pricked awake from a momentary monumental dream everyday
And bitterly bite back words that'll swiftly rot and wrack in my brain
My love will never gallantly gain the strength to ever
Be called more than an aching unrequited, unreasonable longing
Stifling yet undeniably unable to kill my hopeless yearning and desire
