Recommended "portion sizes": forever a mystery.
(And no, using 30g of cereal as a topping for your pretty instagrammable oat meal chia bowl doesn't count!)
I’ve posted portion size guides before, but this is another great way to use your hand to keep portion sizes under control!
Another hidden carb killer
Let me tell you..I’m learning a lot by counting again this month.
I, no shame, buy this one pound bag of Brussels, roast them with bacon, and eat the whole bag. That’s one meal for me, or it was.
Today I looked and this whole bag is approximately 40 carbs! FOURTY!!! Holy cow!
So I portioned some out, roasted them up with bacon, and ate my lunch.
Three eggs with small amount of Turkey Sausage. Cup of coffee with 2 spoons of sugar. Trying to cut down on my amount of food in take for a little while.
Protein Plate after run. I’m in love with the salami slices. 15g protein
🦄 of course there are certain exceptions to this but, generally, just don’t do it 🦄

🌱 you can be the closest person to someone and you still may not know what they’re going through 🌱
An official serving of Cinnamon Toast Crunch vs my serving. Seriously who eats such a small amount of cereal? Like what would be the point??
