It’s okay to be upset when people misgender you. You’re not overreacting. You deserve to be recognized as who you are; asking for that does not make you selfish and it doesn’t mean you are taking up too much space.
It’s okay to have short hair and not look super traditionally masculine. You’re not ugly, and your short hair isn’t bad. It’s okay and it’s lovely. It’s alright to be a man, an nby, or a woman with short hair, even if you don’t look like a hypermasc cis man. You aren’t ugly, and you aren’t lesser; you are good.
