“Some people grumble that roses have thorns; I am grateful that thorns have roses.” 🌹🌹🌹 It’s around the holidays that I really remember to count my blessings. And as hard as life can be sometimes, I just have to keep reminding myself to focus on the POSITIVE. I have a loving family, an amazing job, the best husband and kitty, a nice home, and a friendly neighborhood. #BLESSED I’ve got 101 reasons to be thankful for the life I’ve been given. And I want to remind you too, that no matter what, there’s always something to be thankful for.😊 Choose to celebrate the things you love today. Focus on the roses! 🌹 #ThankfulThursday
Being nonbinary can create some scary situations. Whether you're coming out, experimenting with a new name/pronouns, or encountering some other hurdle, there is plenty of fear to be found.
But while fear is great at protecting us from truly dangerous things, it overreacts to things that aren't.
That's why it's important to think of yourself as the driver of your car.
Fear can sit in the backseat.
It doesn't get to speed up/slow down, make turns, or stop the car. It doesn't get to critique. And it doesn't get to stop you from reaching your destination.
Einstein once said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” That was me a few years ago. I was an avid runner, so I would run miles and sometimes hit the gym with my same weights, same exercises, and same reps. I accepted my body was “how it was going to be” because I was working out and saw no results (side note: I wasn’t fueling my body properly either). And then I tried something different, something novel, and something out of my comfort zone. And know what I found? Change, results, happiness, self-confidence, and so many new doors to open. So if you are feeling stuck, make a change, because old ways won’t open new doors. - - - - #ekopositivity #einsteinquotes #opennewdoors #positivitypost #mentalhealthblogger

Working on myself for myself
I hope to one day find someone who appreciates my fine ass.
When physical dysphoria is ruining your day and you're struggling with being in your body, why not try dancing or working out? Turn on your favorite music and get moving. Cis people love their bodies. Cis people are taught to love and embrace their bodies, and we should too.
The human body whether cis or otherwise is beautiful, strong, capable, and worthy of recognition--show yours some love!
