Elias posts makeup tutorials on Youtube and uses Jon as the model to show viewers how it’s done. Charlie came up with some brilliant dialogue:

Comments section is full of speculation about what Elias’s kink could possibly be, because there’s something going on there, and Elias will occasionally respond to a popular comment with some of the most cryptic shit ever. So no one has a clear idea.
Martin is a dedicated viewer solely because of Jon and has a fake account to leave comments about how the tutorials are good but Elias is super annoying.
Tim has a GoPro stream for his account because you can pry him happily kayaking out of my cold dead hands. He’s irl buddies with Martin and so Martin is the only reason he’s at all linked to the this catty, overly dramatic corner of youtube at all. He’s very nice, if really tired, about listening to Martin ramble about Jon for hours. The boy isn’t angry or bitter. His bro’s alive. Let us have this.
Martin does post videos, mostly quiet vlogs about mental health and things you could do organize your life, but mostly he lurks on everyone else’s. Jane Prentiss does harass him on his videos. She just really badly wants to be friends and is real bad at that.
Nikola is, obviously, a rival youtuber with another popular makeup channel. Her style is very very different and leans towards the more impossibly perfect look, edging towards uncanny valley. She rags on Elias for making looks that aren’t realistic. She also shit talks Jon’s skin care.
At some point Sasha bailed from Elias’s channel to Nikola’s. No one mentions this. One day she stopped assisting in one set of videos and appeared assisting in the other. It’s like she was always on Nikola’s channel.
Michael is Jon’s roommate and always walks in while they’re recording and does some super weird shit in the background before leaving again. At one point gathered what sure appeared to be supplies to hide a body. Another time he enters a different room in the background and a half hour later someone who looks much more like a female real estate agents leaves. Michael does not reappear for the rest of the episode. Jon and Elias never, ever mention it.
If you go back enough to watch Elias and Jon's like, second video, Michael shows up halfway through, says "when is a door not a door?", giggles for 7 minutes and then leaves again.
At some point there’s a Big Showdown at a makeup convention between Elias, Jon, Nikola, and someone who no one recognizes but looks like they use Nikola’s tutorials on the regular. Real uncanny valley feel there. This is the first time they’ve met in person and Elias and Nikola immediately start escalating the conflict until Jon has to get involved just to survive it. And of course they’re livestreaming almost the whole thing. Elias goes for his classic blunt object attack and tries to smash Nikola’s head with a hairbrush.
Michael shows up and one point on stage even though he absolutely has no business being in the same state, even. Jon and Elias still won’t mention that he’s there or that he really shouldn’t be, but Nikola absolutely brings it up and insists that Michael is removed immediately because he definitely doesn’t belong.
Gertrude has a travel channel where she rates hotels. She has such an adult, serious channel, no one can figure out what she and Elias keep fighting and shading each other. They operate in completely different yt spheres. They shouldn’t even know each other.
Leitner does book reviews, and probably maybe has a crush on Gertrude? His videos can mostly be described as: Old man gently describes nice books he's read. You get drawn in because his videos are relaxing, and then he reviews a book on demon summoning and gets Weirdly Enthusiastic about it.
Gerry kinda follows Gertrude around when she travels, and he mostly does vlogs and livestreams his art. At one point Elias commissioned an icon for his channel and never paid, the dick
Michael is still in uni, for philosophy. Michael and Gerry are buddies, and sometimes Michael guest stars in his vlogs. He's completely different there, a real sweetheart, and the first time someone realizes they're the same person all the viewers freak out. Michael often expresses disapproval of Gerry following Gertrude around; he definitely doesn’t like her.
People write in to Gerry asking if he knows anything about Michael's roommate and what he does in those videos and he basically keeps responding 'we don't really talk about that' or 'that's between us'. ‘It’s not my place to answer personal questions like that’. He at least says this while giggling instead of being terrifyingly straight-faced, which earns him the fan-given title of Most Likely To Be Human.
He eventually does a live Q&A, and Michael just walks in in the middle of it. Suddenly the questions switch direction and pick up speed as they are all addressed to him instead of Gerry.
Gerry: hey guys, I'm feeling kind of ignored here, ha ha!
Viewers: so Michael, did you actually kill someone, is that why you were getting lye and a shovel in the background of this video
Michael: why would i get lye and a shovel if i had killed someone? i think i'd get a trash bag and a sharp knife.

Also, there's a vlog with Gerry half crying like "so I was traveling with Gertrude, as you know, I’m here in France and don't understand a single word and I think she just....forgot me."
(cue Michael showing up out of nowhere. he definitely shouldn't be in France.)
Georgie puts her podcast episodes on youtube, and Jon has done a couple of guest appearance on there. Elias is really passive aggressive about it.
Elias, while applying mascara "Now see, this is a new product *Jon would know the name of if he hadn't been oh so busy hanging out with his ex*. ...Very easy to apply, just use the brush-"
Jon, ever oblivious: "Georgie, Elias was kind of weird-"
Georgie: "Yes, I've watched the new video. I'm not getting involved with this.'
This is also the first time Georgie is referenced as Jon’s ex in a video, because Elias is as ever the master of everyone else’s business. This is around when we decided that his channel is called His Brand.
Melanie still has her ghost hunting show but does not get shot by a ghost and go full Slaughter.
Mike Crew and Jude Perry have a shared prank channel that’s awful. Like, “This is Jackass” but meaner, somehow. They definitely at one point figured out where Jon lives and involved him in a video against his will.
Daisy has a channel about making weapons from scratch and using them for hunting. She once posted a video on how to dress a deer that did involve killing the deer on video. That got taken down and she threw a fit, threating to sue youtube. Basira is her longsuffering girlfriend and assistant. Occasionally she does public service announcements on safety stuff for kids.
Peter Lukas posts videos of his boat trips sans sound. Just. Silent videos. Elias is in the comments of every single one being horny on main.
Martin absolutely wants them to get together, no, not because he’s jealous about Jon or anything, I don’t know why you’d say that Tim, I just think they’d be good together.
Breekon and Hope are weird delivery guys that never ring the doorbell and just leave the “you weren’t here” slips behind. Elias hates them because he gets tons of deliveries. Part of it is that he mostly orders online and hates going to stores, part of it is that he’s an Influencertm. People send him stuff to use on his channel.
