Revenant || Spotlight Para
Jennifer was on edge. She had been ever since the portal closed, the enthusiasm had been short lived and replaced with a kind of heavy feeling in her gut. As though she were being watched. Then the sightings started. It would be little things, a familiar silhouette just rounding a corner before she recognised it, a person standing across the road and being gone in the blink of an eye.
She shook it off, she needed to focus. Aleksi needed training. She’d asked him to meet her at the warehouse they’ve worked in before, and he’d informed her Stiles would join them. The boy could do with training too, so she didn’t mind. She’d arrived early, waiting for the boys to join her. She was leaning against a pillar in the dilapidated warehouse when a voice sounded form behind her,
“You always did come too early to stuff Jules.”
Her eyes went wide and she spun around, that voice, no… Dead. Dead long ago. And there was no one there.
“I always liked that about her.”
She whirled in the opposite direction, no one there. She was losing her mind. Her eyes were wide and she all but ran out of the warehouse, thoroughly freaked out. She saw the boy and almost hid behind them. Instead she ran a shaky hand though her hair and pointed towards the warehouse.
“I need to something for me.” she said, barely controlled panic in her tone, “J-Just, go in there and tell me it’s empty. Please just go tell me it’s empty.”
