Well, I drew them before, so here’s this lovely Kiki’s Delivery Service inspired for Pidge and Lance. And, again, featuring Keith and Hunk as Pidge’s two cats. 

My tags will call it Plance (like the previous picture), but feel free to see them as just friends or platonic or whatever.

Its Angst Time™: Allurance “Her” AU. Where Lance, feeling lonely after a breakup, buys this fancy new sentient OS named Allura, who he slowly falls in love with, only for Allura to eventually ascend to a higher plane of existence, but not before helping Lance develop the confidence to pursue a hopeful new relationship with his neighbor, Pidge.

Thanks to this draw your OTP by @snuffysbox, I was able to work on this!  Drawing Lance and Pidge’s AU versions I did before for a fantasy AU, I wanted some angst, so! We have Lance in a dying forest with poor Pidge. Though water is supposed to help her recover, nothing is helping the poor fairy.

With how well Pidge can navigate her way around the varying locations, it’s easy to forget she’s blind in this AU. And poor Lance, he’s just the perfect guy to constantly forget this detail.  Thankfully Pidge doesn’t mind too much, but she will roll out some sass.  May be considered Plance (though each person can see it how they wish) since Lance is showing off for Pidge.

Well, I decided to doodle these two up again, simply just showing basic appearances. While Lance’s outfits will change from time to time (depending on where he’s at and what’s going on), his dive suit is very common for swimming, diving, and even surfing. 

Also, enjoy a basic size comparison of the two. 

Due to my struggle of being consistent with sizes, things may continually vary with them. Well, that happens. But just know, Lance is very tiny compared to Pidge. Actually... every human is in this AU. To think she’s the smallest of her family/kind.  Remembering that Pidge can hold Lance in her hands with ease and even cup them over him without harming him helps in drawing that... maybe. 

Also, we’ve seen Lance with a vest on and part of the patch on it (which in my original doodle for that, I actually incorrectly spelled “research” and wrote it as “reasearch”, oops). Well! Here’s its appearance!

I had considered changing it up over time, but I really like its design. It’s kinda cute and simple. We’ve seen it referred to as “AARC” (pronounced “Ark”) by Shiro during his incident, and in this AU, I like to think it’s a common thing/location many people know about.  I’m thinking AARC is run by Alfor, who I plan to have as Lance’s uncle in this AU. That makes him and Allura cousins (so no Allurance in this AU, sorry Allura/Lance shippers). And speaking of Allura. 

I don’t know much about how cousins act, I’m not close with mine really, but I assume them to be like siblings at times. Some moments you love them, other moments you hate them, and occasionally you wish they weren’t right about your private life and secrets. Yeah, he hasn’t told Allura about Pidge yet.  She’s human in this AU and works at AARC. I think Lance works part time or just simply hangs around. 

Also... I may be leaning more towards this as a Plance sort of AU, even with their difference in sizes. But hey, see it how you wish until something happens further in the AU. Anyway! That’s about it for now. Maybe sometime I can do other characters and/or notes about the AU.
