Theory time.
So, there are a lot of fun pictures floating around the internet that you can interact with by posting some of your information in a really different way like , “Add your birth month, first letter of last name and age to find out what your superpowers are!” And even more recent, there is one posted on Facebook that asks for the first two letters of your mother’s maiden name and first three letters of the city you were born in to find out your Star Wars name.
Normally, I’d blow this shit off, but I got to thinking. When you are asked to select security questions on a website that generally contains sensitive personal information, you are generally required to pick from pre-entered questions like your mother’s maiden name or the city you were born in.
Seems like a good way to get information to bypass a password.
Therefore, I will no longer participate in such “games” and I encourage you, if you choose to, to please be careful.
