How would y’all feel if I started a comic about my personal experiences with adhd? It’s not a sure thing, but I’ve lowkey wanted to do a webcomic for a while now. Just trying to gauge interests.

this is a lil oc of mine?? im not entirely sure what or who she is but she lives in like, mountainous areas and im thinking of maybe making a webcomic? like i would love to make a neat comic with like, a buncha different characters and all, and i was thinking she could be one of them she lost her eye in battle or something, and instead of wearing an eyepatch she just leaves for people to see sewn shut or something? bc shes hardcore she got tattoos over her eyes

Artistical Endeavors and Sunburns

Just me rambling about my life

Precollege has about 2 weeks left so I'm going to try and crack down on all my wasted free time. I have 4 6x6 panels ready to be painted and 6 kiwis in my fridge ready to pose. My mom said she wanted some paintings for her kitchen so I'm like, hell, more kiwis for my portfolio anyways. Going to try my best the next week to get up early and go paint these suckers in the work rooms. Really gotta try and stick to getting up early no matter what, or ill just end up sleeping past noon and staying up till 4 am. 

I'm also going to set up all my art sites this week, although I wont really have anything to upload to them. So that's a behance, a RISD portfolios, and maybe a linked in. Ill also try looking into a personal website too because that's professional looking, right? Either way, I probably wont get to photographing/ scanning work till i get home, so might as well take advantage of what i can do here (before my family starts jumping down my throat). 

Another cool thing is I may be working on a webcomic during the rest of this summer/upcoming year. An old friend from middle school, Ben, contacted me saying he would like to work on a webcomic with me. Hes had this idea for a story, but lacks the artistic skills to actually draw the comic and apparently he either thinks I'm good enough to work with him, or I'm the only artist he knows (hahaha). But yeah, it seems like a cool idea and considering my imagination and passion for characters/my own stories has died out a bit, this could help me out in getting passionate about my own ideas, give me something to work for personally, but also improve in my "cartooning/sketching" style of work. It will probably be a lot of work but if I can myself to stick with it, i think i would get a lot out of it in a lot of different ways. (and hell if we actually get readers i could even make a little $$$ from this in a year or so)

Personally, precollege has been going very well. None of my kids have gotten a curfew violation these whole 4 weeks (yay!) and i was actually able to get a lot of my girls to go to my late night grilled cheese event last week (also yay!). We went to Block Island yesterday and I had a really great time. I swam basically the whole day and it was beautiful out, so everything there went really great. The only thing that sucks is that i got majorly sunburned so now most of my skin matches my mohawk, either stark white or bright pink. By back stings so much that my bra straps feel like they are made of sandpaper. Makes sleeping a little harder, but at least its cooled down a lot hear so I'm no sweating anymore. My glasses also got scratched from sand at the beach so I'm a little pissed off about that. Guess that just means ill have to wear them less and wear makeup a little more often. 

Life is looking pretty okay by my standards though!
