I can at least keep on returning to Gravity Falls, and know that you can start over when you're old. Life doesn't have a schedule, and the person you need will return, or be with you in spirit when you need them most.
I'm not geriatric by any standard(yet), but the message that adventure has no age limit, much similar to love, will be engraved in my heart and head until I pass on to the next step in my journey.
It's bizarre how about 4 years ago, I kept watching this video on repeat because I really didn't have people or friends to connect and understand my love for this show. The video was comforting to keep on repeat while I worked, mopping floors, and having a solitary job, thinking I'd probably never find my people....I hold this gently in my pathetic little heart, and love it still.
Sitting bored at work, and been thinking about how the greatest defeat to Bill would be that he should be completely forgotten.
He sits in his own purgatory in theraprism, and years go by, the Pines change and live past Bill, and when it comes to a point that the last Pines passes that has knowledge of him, the axolotl releases him.
And a new set Pines of twins are born, named for uncles that had "cool names" a few hundred years before. Bill is born again parallel to them, and when the men have grown again, Bill confronts them, appearing insane, cursing them from another lifetime of woe, and attempts to destroy them, and once again is committed.
He is a relic from another time and place, and the very thought of two reincarnations of his mortal enemies looking at him and going: "I don't even know you." plainly causes his brain to snap, in which he tries to then commit to killing them, and is once again sent to another version of theraprism. He is the only one who remembers what he was.
Save for the axolotl who knows this is a torture worse than any other to Bill, and continues to let the demon rot in the cycle of hell.
So many versions of Stan are acknowledged, but what about the era in which he becomes a great uncle, a Grunkle, and to twins. Twins. Like him.
He's in his mid forties, holding two little newborn stars in his universe, and he can't even tell them who he really is, how he's a twin, and how deep his love already is just meeting them. His brother doesn't get to share this joy.
I'm just going to go scream while I weep.

Well, went to urgent care for chest pain and numbness in my arm, and they directed me to the ER to make sure I didnt have a minor heart attack.
Tests came back good and no heart attack, but they want to check me tomorrow for clotting that could be from my birth control. So Stan sat and carried me through the IV they put in me. I loathe blood work and all that.
I just wanna go home.
Damn babe, it's hotter than a silver fox that let himself go in the best way, grew his hair out, and decided to heal trauma on the high seas with his twin brother out there. Whooooooo.
I can't stand myself, and feel like I've let Stan down because I haven't put up a TON of things I've bought over so many months 😞
