i know we all love the idea of post war femshep finally getting to settle down and adopt tiny krogans/have little blue babies/the white picket fence and 2.4 kids/ but i also really love the idea of a childfree femshep.

like, she's dedicated her WHOLE LIFE to looking out for other people. part of me thinks she wants/deserves a break to just live (and get some godamn therapy). like let my girl go on holiday, go to London (for Anderson), hike a mountain, decorate a room that's not a bunk, keep some fish alive, finish her model ship collection and finally discover something outside of surviving.

not saying she wouldn't find ways to mother (like come on you know she's not retiring, she's training recruits, taking a fondness to the scrappy ones). but it's on her terms. she fought for this life and now she gets to live it /for her/.

Two posts in 1 day? What is it, my birthday? Yes it actually was that’s why I had time to draw. I am 99% sure that my treasured headcanon of Cortez becoming Shepard’s caretaker and close friend for a few months (being the only crew member left on Earth), comes from a fanfiction I’ve read in these years. PLEASE, if you know it send me the link, because I’d very much like to re-read it.

Catch Me - Chapter 3

(Post Destroy Ending however EDI and the Geth live due to cloud save backups.) 10 years after the Reaper War the galaxy is slowly opening back up as mass relays are repaired, worlds are being rebuilt, and societies wish to get back to normal. Maddy Snow is a human on the run and hiding out in the outer reaches of the galaxy salvaging metal and ores for various mining facilities. However, while she accidentally befriends and catches the eye of a turian working on the mining facility, her past begins to catch up to her. Not knowing where else to go, who she can trust, and tired of running, she finds herself relying on Titus, an ex-soldier looking for a new purpose after the war.

Maddy reflects on her new life as she tries to not get caught on a day to day basis. Sometimes it really does suck to have your life change so drastically because you tried to do a good deed.

Titus begins to make plans to save the station from the mercs, but in the meantime they both have to try and stay alive.
