For Kimiko the video inspiration is pretty straightforward but here it is!

I like to imagine that she looks like a flame when she is on a battlefield with her flowing robes! And while i simplified her design for art-style purposes, if the show was a filmed thing i imagine this would, essentially, be the kind of outfit she would be wearing!

Continuing from THIS

I didn’t really want Raimundo’s weapon to be a broom, so I started to dig for other weapons that could work and discovered the horsetail whisk (拂尘) which is supposed to symbolizes a “spiritual tool for purifying a space and remove evil influences” but also a sign of “of power and respect used by chiefs” but also as a weapon that is not meant to inflict injury but instead to simple gentle rebuke an attack. Which, watching some videos, I thought it was perfect~
