Changing The Order Of Your Posts
Changing The Order Of Your Posts
Have you ever wanted to re-order your posts? Sometimes you may make a few draft titles and save writing the content of later. However when you post your articles you may find that they don’t actually flow in order that you expect them to. For whatever reason you may want to change the order of your posts, rest assured it’s really easy to do with WordPress’s built in post scheduler. When you have…

Hi 'SA! If there's no established posting order in a group thread but someone posts in front of you, does that count as being skipped (and should it be nicely pointed out that it's not great etiquette) or is it basically a free-for-all? I'm not sure where we stand on this if no posting order's been established.
In the absence of a specifically established posting order or skipping protocol (i.e. “skip if it’s been more than 48 hours”), most players will default to the initial posting order and skipping if it’s been over a week or so. However, posting order is a more universally agreed upon standard than skipping protocols, so different players may have a different idea of when it’s appropriate to skip.
Still, 48 hours is probably a good baseline threshold for skipping. If you’ve been skipped and it’s been less than 48 hours since the prior post, you can politely alert the player who skipped you of standard post order etiquette, as they may be unaware. If you were skipped and it’s been more than 48 hours, you can still let the person know about post order etiquette, but you may also want to let your thread partners know you’d prefer to stick with the posting order, even if it takes a little longer for you to respond.
As always, it’s best to communicate openly with your thread partners. If there was nothing agreed on beforehand, no one’s really in the wrong for posting out of turn or skipping (basically a free-for-all, yes), but if it makes you uncomfortable or messes up your groove in the thread, it’s certainly worth pointing out!
If you’ve been skipped, you may want to talk it out with your partners and arrange it so you’ll post next and then adhere to that new posting order moving forward. Alternatively, you may agree to just wait until your turn comes around again and stick with the initial posting order.
Sort posts by random order
I would love to be able to sort posts on my page randomly. I’m not talking about the /random feature which just returns a single random page. I want more control over the order and sorting of posts as they appear on my blog!
The order of these posts make it seem as if she's like "yeah, well, I'm awesome."
