Sheith Month day 9: Quality Time.

Excerpt: “You know,” Lance says conversationally, tucking his hands behind his back, “this is like, second-best case scenario. A part of me maybe worried that you were going to tell me I just had something on my face, like last time. Because you like to torture me, apparently.”

“You make it easy.” The warmth in Keith’s stomach spreads up to his chest, out towards his fingers. He chuckles, shifting his weight, knowing that he’s standing really close. Maybe too close, but maybe not close enough, either. “What’s the first-best?” he asks.

My Comments: This is the first tumblr fic I’ve recced. It’s short, but every word of it is tailor-made to make your heart pound. It’s warm and soft and intimate in all the best ways. The teasing and flirting is very much Klance, and I couldn’t get enough.

When Takashi Shirogane walked into a Seattle bar, the last person in the world he expected to see was Keith.

Five years ago, Keith left Shiro and the rest of his friends in the middle of the night without as much as a goodbye. When Shiro gets a new job in Seattle and wanders into a bar, he gets the shock of his life when he finds Keith sitting alone at the bar.  

Now Shiro and Keith try to fix their damaged relationship and learn to trust one another again, but it won’t be easy as Keith has another battle of his own to fight...

Sheith Month Day 6: Post- Voltron

The opening shot is of an apartment building. The words “20 years later...” appear on the screen.

The scene changes to the inside of an apartment. The camera changes between different stills showing small details of said apartment. There’s a shot of Keith’s jacket hanging on a hook by the door. The white parts of it have lost their brightness and are now a light brown from years of wear.

The shot changes again. It’s a wall covered in framed photographs. A selfie Lance took of the team. Pidge and Hunk posing in front of a robot they built together. Texas and Krolia holding baby Keith. And a wedding photo. The details are hard to make out, but it’s clear that everyone on the team is in it. Before it’s clear enough to see who’s wedding it is, the shot changes.

There’s a table by the door. A pile of opened letters lay on it. One reads in neat print “From Hunk”. Another, in cursive, reads “From Allura” and then, with slightly messier, handwriting “and Lance”. Next to the letters are 2 sets of keys. One set has a Swiss Army knife attatched to it. The other has a tiny figurine of a paladin attatched to it by a metal ring.

The camera moves one last time. It’s a close up of Shiro’s face. His white hair is riddled with grey. There’s a new scar above his eyebrow. He’s looking down at something, his face full of fondness. The camera pans out to show Keith asleep and laying on his chest. Shiro runs his fingers through his black hair. A silver wedding band glistens on his finger. The screen fades to black.
