Yeah, I broke down sobbing when Tomo and I saw the girls off at Tokyo Station.  And I could tell from their faces that they had been waiting just for that moment (like, seriously, last year I cried so hard that the teachers started making jokes about my tears outdoing the rain).  

Right now, Tomo and I are making our way back home.  Oh!  Megu just posted on Instagram about today...and there I go tearing up again.

Due to the continued cooling of the planet and its oceans the Earth entered a phase called the “Cryogenian Ice Age” this was soon followed by the “Cambrian Expansion” which saw the development of the earliest fish-like creatures alongside many early arthtopods and mollusks. This was then followed by the “Andean-Saharan Glaciation” yet another phase of the Earths Ice ages.

Right now, we’re driving to some famous “gaikokujin bochi” (in Japanese, “foreigner cemetery”).

I didn’t know you could be a pro in SK-II skincare (pic 1, under the SK-II on the right above the COVERMARK poster).

I know that Hakodate is a port city, so it’s obviously at or near to sea level.  But seeing a sign cautioning about tsunamis (pic 2) is a little unsettling, you know?  It’s a very harsh reminder of what could happen at any moment, any time.

I think we’re getting close to the cemetery because we just passed a giant temple (pic 3).
