The last store. The sneakers are all hand made in Japan. I think my boyfriend would really like them, but I don’t know which color to pick plus I have no idea what his size is in Japan (or if they’d even have it). I don’t understand why their mascot is a kangaroo (pic 5).
Both Tomo-san and Ken-chan ended up getting a pair, though. Ken-chan insisted on paying for Tomo-san’s as her birthday present (I’m guessing they keep their finances separate?). Her surprise was so cute!
For some reason, there are random Santas right in front of the shoe store, too (pic 6).
Before we leave the building, I’m going back to that first shop to get some hand towels as souvenirs. There are some Hokkaido-gentei Hello Kitty ones that I want to get for friends back home. Also, there’s a cute Rilakkuma one that I want to get to Mihiro-chan as a thank you present for being our leader through the whole internship.
