How To Search for a Privately Rented Room in London (Non-LSE Accommodation)
- @antoniajennings
Antonia Jennings, a postgrad student at LSE, explains the best ways to find private accommodation in London.
Coming to study at the LSE doesn’t mean you have to live in LSE accommodation! Away from LSE halls there are plenty of privately-rented rooms and houses, all across the city. If that’s something you’d like to do, read on for a few pointers on starting your search.
Hello! I was wondering what would you generally have to do to study at the graduate level in Cambridge as a US student right out of undergraduate?
Again, not too up on the graduate scene (there's not much contact between undergrads and grads) but generally: have exceedingly good recommendations, achieve pretty much the highest results possible from a good uni with a strong program in what you want to do you grad school in, helping with research is always good, especially if you can get your name on a published paper. Sorry I can't be more help, the general answer is be exceedingly impressive.
So, how was your first semester at grad school?
Congratulations Postgrads!
Congratulations to everyone finishing their dissertation this weekend!
It's been a long, hard road but you've made it!
