“Controversial opinion, but when people say Hanyu has excellent spins I'm just... he doesn't? He's not a terrible spinner, but I wouldn't say he's excellent. Skaters I'd consider to have excellent spins are ones like Jason and Deniss. They have incredible speed, unique and beautiful positions, and their spins are something I look forward to seeing. I have not once ever been excited to see Hanyu spin, and I doubt a lot of people do. inb4 ‘so u hate textbook spins then’ in the replies.”
