I’ve always liked songs more than an artist or a group so I’ve never really been a hardcore fan of any one artist or group in particular. This song is one of those songs and it just happens to be a Beatles song. My cowriter/ husband rearranged it in a different style to fit the sound of our debut album, ‘Interstellar’ which I’m so very proud to say has won the ‘Best New Artist in Japan’ award! If you like what you hear, you can download the entire album on iTunes and Amazon or stream it on Spotify :) Some of my friends have told me that they like playing the album in the car or when they’re cooking. The music is more like whiskey aged in a wooden cask than it is an easy drink of water so it’s not for everyone. The show last night was awesome! A really cool mixture of styles and lots of amazing musicians. Malphas started it off with some awesome black metal... I forgot to get a picture or video but they sounded great and they were cool dudes too. Next it was Felix Martin... this was probably the single weirdest set I have ever seen... if I had to call it any genre, I would probably say "post-jazz". Really good musicians playing intense instruments. After that it was the mighty Tengger Cavalry. This is the second time we've seen them and they never disappoint! I love the combination of throat singing, traditional instruments, and metal. Plus I got to talk to the guys afterwards, and they are very cool.
