rewatched potage and this is truly one of my favs. hannibal is having a literal field day in this episode, the look on his face when abigail said she didn't recognize the man on the phone, and then also when she's having that fake panicked realization that her father was feeding them the girls. hannibal's face is just like 'now girl you knew damn well'

also his face when marissa calls her mum a bitch, he was appalled.... and then when he discovers nicholas' body, ugh! the look on his face and his acting is absolutely priceless

and don't get me started on his innocent 'i trust will to speak for himself' with barely contained excitement

this is one of the episodes where he's really just curiously observing, especially abigail and will. he does everything he did to watch how they'll react, what they'll do, their interactions and i think he's thoroughly impressed with just how manipulative abigail is
