Prudential Center in NJ seats 18,711 and the Barclay center seats 18,103.
Remember when Big Bang had Groupon deals because they couldn’t sell out their prudential center concert?
I feel like it isn’t the smartest thing for GD to be going to a place that seats basically the same when EXO couldn’t sell out prudential center (and neither could BTS, anyone who actually went to the NJ con will tell you there were empty seats)
It's great that BTS is getting all these mentions by USA artists and even getting invited to BBMA, but... it's also kind of getting annoying.
Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of BTS and the fact that they're the first ever K-pop group to be invited to BBMA, and whatever else. But is it really necessary for BH to retweet every single article mentioning this? I haven't even heard of half of these places they gave interviews to. What did BH do, say yes to every single English outlet that called them and said 'hey we wanna interview them'? (Actually, it wouldn't surprise me the least if this is actually what happened.)
Also, can we talk about while they boast about all these international achievements, they don't actually do jack shit for i-fans? Levelling up in the official fancafe is basically impossible for i-fans because of the streaming portion, none of the questions are translated in English (and you're like... not supposed to ask for help, either), and you can't answer in English for certain questions, either. If you pay for an official fanclub membership, there are zero perks for i-fans becaue we don't get concert priority ticketing like k-fans do. Technically, we pay more than k-fans because we have to cover shipping costs of the (lackluster) goods. And then it's kind of like okay, cool, you're on your own. You're not allowed to post translations of any fancafe materials, so i-fans don't get that either.
So yeah, it's kind of annoying, and it'd be kind of nice for BH to acknowledge that we i-fans exist on some other level than SNS and award fodder.
