Some days you just can’t win
@fallcnandlost Devis 'Cardinal' O'Dare drops down onto the rooftop, pushing his heavy goggles up to survey the street below. Raising a mic to his lip he rolls his eyes* Cardinal to Peanut, I'm in position. Hit the bank. What's with the fucking stupid nicknames again? "Just shut up and do your job." He laughed and walked to the edge, crimson tinted wings twitching as they stretched, flaring the wingtips. A bright ember ignited down the road and streaked into the front of the bank. Devis grunted and hopped down, twisting in midair to follow it into the target. The rocket punched through the plate glass and slammed into the vault at the back, buckling the door and scattering shrapnel through it. Fragments bounced off the red energy, cracks appearing in it before the wings folded up, the rest of the team swarming in while he took guard waiting for the expected SWAT team.
