Doctor Who OC Discussion - Aubrey Phillips

Ok, so, I’ve been going through my OCs and finding faceclaims for them, realising that my Doctor Who OC Aubrey doesn’t have one yet.

Took me a while of looking through actresses in their mid twenties to find a faceclaim, but I think I’ve found one I like the most. Was hoping to get a second opinion from you guys before I settle.

She doesn’t completely match Aubrey feature for feature, but I was thinking maybe Anya Taylor-Joy, what do you all think?

ooc: okay so, I’m not really someone who uses RP face claims (like, EVER) but if I WERE to say who’s giving me the closest look to how I’m imagining Conrad to look, I’d definitely have to go with Devon Bostick (He played Rodrick in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, and was also in SAW VI as Brent Abbott.) Not how he looks currently, but how he looked in DoaWK:RR.

Which is fun, because Conrad absolutely adores the SAW series (yes, he watched it way too young and was scared to death, but now thinks it makes him cooler and has a lot of fondness for it.)

Anyways, I’m not settled on it or anything, but the vibes felt strangely correct, so I’ll put it as a maybe for a potential visualization aid.

Changing some Faceclaims

Ok, so this is the first time I’ve done this. But I’m considering changing one of my faceclaims.

As of Jedi Survivor, and seeing some clips of American Horror Story, I’ve found myself really wanting to use Cody Fern as a faceclaim for an OC. Although I don’t currently have a new OC in the works, so I ended up looking back through my male characters to see if there’s one I want to change.

I did find one in my Dark Pictures Anthology collection of OCs I’m not entirely happy with the faceclaim I originally chose for them. Said OC I had in mind for the change was Beverly’s biological dad Stephen. I did look at my faceclaims for Beverly and Lainey as well to see if they look the part and personally feel I can make it work, but wondered what you guys thought.

The particular appearance I had in mind for Stephen was Cody as the short haired version of Michael Langdon in AHS.

What do you guys think? You guys a fan of this faceclaim choice or can you think of someone who’d fit better than Cody?

Also on that note been thinking of also changing my faceclaim choice for Bailey/Bonnie/Beverly. I love Elle Fanning as a faceclaim, but I feel like a friend indirectly suggested a better choice who’s appearance wouldn’t need any altering to make her fit. I was thinking of going for Francesca Capaldi instead.

I did do a lot of thinking about it, but the more I thought about it the more I liked Francesca as Beverly better. Your thoughts on that as well?

Star Wars OC Faceclaim Reveal - Numae Uvar

First of all, before we get into the faceclaim, I will acknownledge that I haven’t actually showcased Numae on Tumblr properly yet. So I will get on that, I just want to give the sim of him a some tweaks and stuff, and then I’ll do a proper introduction post for him.

Right now, all that you need to know about him for this particular is that he’s a former padawan of the Jedi Order and is an Inquisitor post Order 66. He’s been obsessed with Luna since they were children, and his fall to the dark side magnified that obsession significantly, so he’s gonna be a villain, alongside the Second Sister, in my fanfic for Fallen Order.

He is 19 in the main fic, and was 14 at the time of Order 66, so he’s two years older than Luna and Cal. As for what species Numae is, he’s a Mirialan. Although with his faceclaim you’ll obviously have to imagine him with the skin colour and tattoos of said species.

Anyway, the actor I chose for Numae’s faceclaim. I decided to go with Christian Delgrosso. He’s not been in too much from what I can tell, but I do know that he plays one of the teen characters in the film Willy’s Wonderland.

Kinda helps that the photo I grabbed is actually from said film. I’ve not properly seen the film in full myself, but I have seen a trailer and a few clips and liked what I saw.

I hope this is another faceclaim that you guys approve of and like as much as I do.
