“Smoothie” ……. Acrylic is definitely not a medium that I am used to working with, so I think I had really gone in over my head a bit. I've paid the price for my zealousness through blood🩸 , sweat💦 and tears🥲. Lol There had been many times while I was painting this that I felt like just giving up, but I'm glad I pushed through. I really could have just taken it easy and stuck with mediums that I am more comfortable with such as watercolor, gouache, and ink, but I really love do love to challenge myself, as it is really the only way to learn and improve. Plus, it's always way more interesting! Overall, I had a lot of fun with this painting and had learned alot! I hope to explore more with acrylics in the future!
