i'm so tired of people going "farming? life sim? must be a stardew-like game"
fucking stop. let games stand on their own. not every farming life sim is going play like stardew just because they're a farming life sim. it's not a "stardew clone" just because it's using pixel art. it's not even like stardew was the first. on top of that, there's only so much you can do when you're in the same damn gerne.
to state, i do know that since 2016 there's been a horrible influx of farming life sims and this shitty "cozy as a marketing genre" movement. some of them do take a little too much inspiration from stardew (like harvest town) and yet they're still doing their own fucking shit (like harvest town).
